Back in October of 2019, Danielle and Matt traveled all the way from Alexandria, Virginia to Allaire State Park in New Jersey for their engagement session. It was our first time meeting and yet it didn’t feel like that at all. They even managed to make my boyfriend laugh and enjoy carrying camera equipment around, which is a feat in and of itself. This is all to say that I can’t wait for their wedding at The Grove in September. And that my boyfriend is difficult. (He added that last part).
During the session, we instantly clicked. It was like hanging out with friends that I’ve known for a long time. Danielle and Matt are so much fun, light-hearted and you can immediately feel the care they have for each other. There’s nothing I love more than seeing that obvious chemistry between two people and you can always tell when a couple are also each other’s best friend. That was the case with Danielle and Matt.
They were so accommodating and even though Matt seemed a bit nervous at first, he was always smiling and cracking jokes. Danielle was incredibly easy to work with. And not only that, I kind of just liked hanging out with her. She was so open to any photo ideas I had and, as you can tell from the gallery, looks gorgeous in every photo.
Hope you enjoy these photos from their session! If you’re thinking of Allaire State Park as a place for your engagement session, it’s a beautiful and varied place that you can get so many different looks within the park that really liven up your photos.
